Can Civilians Buy MREs?
MySurvivalPrep uses the same manufacturer that supplies the Military, although these MRE’s are made specifically for the Civilian market. Buying the Civilian MRE’s means that you receive freshly made MRE’s that have been made to Military standards. The buyer can be sure that the mre's have been stored correctly from the start.
While it is possible to buy ex-Military Rations the conditions that they were stored under may severely reduce their shelf life and they may be unsafe or poor quality when you need them. The Military considers selling of Military rations to be illegal.
